With the new K.O. shotgun slug, BRENNEKE presents a technical development in the field of less-lethal ammunition (so-called less than-lethal).

After many years of development, the new material KOline® is used, which deforms extremely quickly upon impact and can be employed primarily for self-defence purposes and in the field of law enforcement ammunition. The disadvantages of rubber projectiles or so-called "Bean Bag Ammo" – a cotton bag filled with shot pellets or similar – are avoided. This is achieved in part through a significantly lower Vo of 96 m/sec and an Eo of 46 joules. The effective engagement distance is between 8 and 10 m. The 9.1 g / 140 grs K.O. Self Defense in calibre 12/70 will then stop any aggressor immediately and unambiguously. The sub-calibre projectile is housed in a pink sabot and therefore stops threats with the "Power of Pink". Thanks to the virtually imperceptible recoil, the cartridge can be used without difficulty by any shooter from any smoothbore barrel with or without a choke.
