The classic 1911 has arrived in the world of red-dot optics with the SIG SAUER 1911-X. This pistol combines proven craftsmanship and timeless style with modern upgrades such as an ultra-flat direct-mount optic cut and XRAY3 day/night sights for an excellently visible sight picture. A flatblade trigger and Custom G10 grip panels by LOK Grips take ergonomics, control and comfort to a new level.

Equipped with a stainless steel frame with accessory rail, ambidextrous safety, front and rear serrations, a stylized carbon steel slide, distinctive custom details and a checkered frontstrap, the 1911-X brings modern features to a timeless platform. Available in Full-Size with 12.7 cm (5") barrel as well as Carry/Commander with 10.8 cm (4.25") barrel.

Safety information

This pistol is equipped with a manual safety. A manual safety is designed – when engaged – to mechanically prevent the discharge of a shot when the trigger is pulled, whether intentionally or unintentionally. Whether a manual safety is suitable for you depends on your experience and intended use; the fundamental rules of safe firearm handling must be observed. Even during normal handling, unintentional trigger actuation can occur.

A manual safety supplements, but does not replace safe firearm handling. You are responsible for avoiding unintentional trigger movement at all times – especially when carrying with a round in the chamber. If a round is in the chamber and the trigger is pulled, the pistol will fire unless the manual safety is engaged.
