The CZ 457 Hunter Veil in .22 LR is a modern, weatherproof rimfire repeating rifle developed specifically for the rigours of everyday hunting, yet equally well suited for the shooting range. As part of the successful CZ 457 series, it combines high precision, durable materials and a distinctive, functional design.

Grippy & robust

The polymer stock with Soft-Touch finish features the Veil® Big Sky Camouflage pattern, which not only gives the rifle its name but also provides a low-profile appearance in the field. The stock is extremely resistant to moisture, cold and mechanical stress. The straight comb is optimally designed for use with a scope.

Thanks to the second sling swivel stud on the forend, a bipod can be easily mounted, while the rubber recoil pad ensures a secure cheek weld.

Barrel & receiver with PVD coating

Almost all metal parts are finished with a matt bronze PVD coating. This state-of-the-art surface treatment effectively protects against corrosion, scratches and wear.

The 20" (525 mm) barrel is fitted without open sights and features a 1/2×20 UNF muzzle thread on which a compensator is fitted as standard. This redirects gas turbulence behind the projectile, thereby contributing to improved accuracy.

The receiver with 11 mm dovetail rail allows easy scope mounting. The bolt handle styled after the CZ 600 Trail, the adjustable trigger and the lateral sliding safety round off this well-conceived overall package.
