The CZ 457 RANGE in calibre .22 LR is a high-quality sport and hunting rimfire rifle whose visual and ergonomic design is inspired by modern centrefire rifles. This model was developed for maximum precision at medium to long distances and is equally suited for benchrest and moving target shooting as well as hunting small game and vermin.

The heart of the CZ 457 RANGE is the heavy, cold-hammer-forged match barrel with a length of 525 mm (20") and MATCH chamber, which ensures excellent shooting stability and consistent point of impact. The standardised muzzle thread 1/2×20 with thread protector allows easy attachment of a suppressor or other accessories.

The laminated and lacquered wooden stock makes a decisive contribution to precision and shooting comfort. The tool-free height-adjustable cheek piece allows optimal adaptation to the shooter. The rear stock with rubber butt pad ensures a secure hold in all shooting positions. A Picatinny rail on the lower rear stock allows the attachment of a monopod for maximum stability during precision shooting.

The pistol grip with thumb rest is designed for right-handed shooters and features a laser-engraved stippling pattern. On the extended forend, Trigatti pins allow the attachment of a sling swivel or bipod. The 11 mm dovetail rail on the steel receiver provides secure scope mounting. The bolt knob made of duralumin matches that of the CZ 600 RANGE and underscores the sporting character of this model.
