The CZ 457 Varmint in .17 HMR calibre is a proven small-calibre bolt-action rifle for precise sport shooting and hunting at medium to longer distances. This popular Varmint variant with a heavy barrel and classic American stock is also a natural fit in the current CZ 457 model range. It impresses with excellent shooting stability, consistent point of impact and outstanding precision.

The hammer-forged heavy barrel with a length of 525 mm (20") provides ideal conditions for the fast, flat-shooting .17 HMR calibre and ensures a very stable performance, particularly during strings of fire. The muzzle thread 1/2×20 allows the fitting of a suppressor or suitable muzzle devices. Open sights are not included – the CZ 457 Varmint is consistently designed for use with a scope. An 11 mm dovetail rail is directly integrated into the system.

The lacquered walnut stock in American style gives the rifle a classic appearance and sits steadily in the shooting position thanks to its shape. The adjustable trigger enables a clean, controlled shot release. In addition, this model is also available in a left-handed version, offering maximum flexibility for different shooters.
