The EOTech 552.A65 is a medium-sized holographic sight, developed and manufactured by EOTech. The CNC-machined aluminium housing is matte black anodised and impresses with a sealed construction that makes the sight water-, dust- and fog-resistant as well as shockproof. Weighing 326 g and measuring 142 × 50 × 63 mm, it belongs to the well-established mid-range class of devices available on the market.
The objective lens (30 × 23 mm) features an anti-scratch and anti-reflective coating. The reticle consists of a 1 MOA dot combined with a 65/68 MOA ring and a 1/2 MOA adjustment value. Projection is achieved via an integrated laser emitter with 20 brightness levels and 10 additional night vision modes. This configuration forms an aiming reticle with a pre-calculated shotgun blast pattern.
Thanks to its parallax-free design and unlimited eye relief, the 552.A65 enables fast and precise target acquisition in varying light and weather conditions – even at greater distances. The Picatinny mount ensures a stable and repeatable point of impact even under demanding operating conditions.
Power is supplied by two AA batteries in a lever-secured battery compartment. Depending on the setting, a battery life of up to 2,500 hours at medium brightness is specified; an automatic, programmable shut-off is also available.
